Links

Listed links are the main URLs of the sites and not specific sub-sections. The list is alphabetical, beginning with author name, and categorisation is done by link tags and so you will see certain sites repeated in different categories. Some sites are so generic that they are difficult to categorise, but hopefully as the site grows things will become clearer.

If you have a source of good free primal/paleo related information, send me an email to freepaleo(at)toshine.net with the link, author name, title and short description and I'll post it here for you.

Also if you own the links I have already posted and want me to amend anything, please let me know.

About

It recently came to attention that there are certain individuals who are charging quite lot for primal/paleo/evolutionary information that actually exists for free in the general sense on the web.

I am not against professionals charging for their services: be that consultations or books, this site is just to let people know that they can probably find all the information they would ever need for free.

Hopefully this site will be useful to you, and something you can pass around saying something like: "Here you go, the link should be on this..."

Feel free to link to this site. If you want you can download and use one of these buttons:

FREE PALEO
FREE PALEO

Because you don't really need to pay for information that is free. (Although you are free to pay for it if you really want to.)

Inflammation is the foundation for cancer and degenerative/autoimmune diseases. Small changes in diet and exercise, e.g. omega-3 oils, Vitamin D, low starch, plant antioxidants, and maintaining muscle mass, can dramatically alter predisposition to disease and aging, and minimize the negative impact of genetic risks. Based on my experience in biological research, i am trying to explain how the anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle combat disease.

There are many opposing viewpoints within the spectrum of the paleolithic diet, and the version which I've found suits me best is the Perfect Health Diet, which includes rice and some other starchy foods, as well as dairy products. Most of my recipes fall into this category, and are tagged 'perfect health diet'. For those who follow a more strict version of paleo, any recipe tagged 'paleo' is both dairy-free and low carb.
